I used to have a red speedo that I adored. It fit perfectly, and I even felt good enough in it to wear it in public, which for me is a big deal. For whatever reason, the cut, the color, everything about it worked on me. And now it’s been lost for two years. Humph.

Hey all! Hope everyone (Stateside, that is) has been having a nice holiday weekend. As you may have noticed (I like to think someone might have), I took a few days off for the holiday.

Arrg! Okay, so I admit I haven’t yet gone to the gym. But I have gotten a good deal of exercise this past week. Here are some more exhibitions of strength in daily life…well, and on the gymnastics rings…to try and get us in the mood before we stuff ourselves with turkey on Thanksgiving.

Hm. Maybe if I keep posting pictures of guys looking the way I’d like to look actually doing what they do to get that way (i.e. working the heck out), I’ll trick my gym-repellant self into making another attempt at the whole training regimen thing.

Or maybe I should just shell out the dough for a good trainer to teach me how to work out properly, then drop the trainer after a month or two (because it’s counterproductive to have my body image issues magnified in the very arena in which I’m attempting to do something about them) and utilize this 24-hour gym in my apartment complex I’ve not yet set foot in.

Meanwhile, look how pretty…
